What personal information we collect and why we collect it
Business Agreement
We do our utmost to protect your data. We need personal data to guarantee our services to you. De Sjop Online processes this personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself. De Sjop Online processes data for the following purposes:
- Providing and invoicing our services;
- Sending our newsletters;
- Processing your order and informing you about its progress;
- Storage for the purpose of executing the Agreement in GoogleDrive;
- Taking measures to improve services and providing information or offers.
Minors
De Sjop Online does not intend to collect data from persons under the age of 18. We therefore do not offer services to minors. We recommend that parents be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without this consent, please contact us. We will then delete this information.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you are a registered user and upload images to the site, you should avoid uploading images with EXIF GPS location data. Visitors to the website can download the images from the website and view the location data.

When you contact us via a contact form, this data is stored in order to provide you with the service you contacted us about. Your data and/or submitted information will not be used for marketing purposes unless you have explicitly stated this.
Newsletter

De Sjop Online only provides information to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.
How long we retain and access your data
When you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. You have the right to access the data we have about you after you have terminated your service with us. You can submit a request for access, correction, or deletion. In order to ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. We request that you black out your passport photo and citizen service number (BSN) in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. De Sjop Online will respond to your request as soon as possible, but no later than within four weeks. You can also request that we delete any personal data we have about you. Data security
For data transfer, we use the so-called SSL security system (Secure Socket Layer) in conjunction with a 128/256-bit encryption.
